Cookie policy

LotteryUK does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. That is why you have not seen a cookie banner.

What we use

We do not set any non-essential cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, and we do not embed third-party widgets that track you.

If this changes

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works fully without them.

Cookies, browser settings and reading results without tracking

What a cookie does, and what it does not do

A cookie is a small value a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Websites use cookies for different purposes, including keeping a session, remembering preferences or measuring advertising activity. Those purposes should not be treated as identical. This site does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and does not require those technologies to display saved lottery results.

The absence of advertising cookies does not mean that a browser stores nothing at all. It can retain visited addresses, downloaded files, cached resources and bookmarks under its own settings. A saved draw URL in your history is different from a cookie placed by a website. Clearing one category does not necessarily clear every other category.

Why the results tools do not need tracking cookies

The lottery checker compares entered numbers in your browser rather than creating a server-side ticket account. Archive filters and the previous-results selector identify a requested view through the page address. These functions do not need a cross-site identifier or an advertising profile. The font files are served with the site rather than being requested from a third-party font service.

Our use of local resources and ordinary links is deliberate. Viewing a game logo or reading an editorial explanation does not require an embedded social widget. When you follow an external operator or support link, however, you leave this website. That destination can have its own cookies, consent choices and account features. Its notice should explain those practices separately.

Changing browser settings

Your browser’s privacy settings usually provide controls for blocking, inspecting and deleting cookies. The exact labels vary by browser and device. Blocking third-party cookies is not necessarily the same as blocking all cookies, and private browsing is not a promise that every network request becomes invisible. Use the browser’s own help information for the settings you want to change.

If you use a shared computer, review whether browser history, saved pages or screenshots should remain available after your session. A copied result link may show which game and date you opened, even though it does not contain a paid ticket. Never add account passwords, barcodes or other sensitive information to a page address in an attempt to preserve a ticket check.

If the site’s features change

A new feature should be assessed on its actual storage and tracking behaviour before it is introduced. If non-essential cookies are added, this policy and the relevant consent arrangements must change rather than relying on today’s description. The current lack of a cookie banner reflects the current site; it is not a general claim that all lottery websites can operate without one.

Frequently asked questions

Why have I not been asked to accept advertising cookies?

LotteryUK does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers. We do not show an accept button for tracking technologies we have not introduced. This describes our results site, not the practices of official operators or other destinations reached through an external link.

Will blocking cookies stop me reading old results?

The public results and archive pages do not need a player session. Their saved records can be read without accepting advertising or analytics cookies. Browser extensions or unusually restrictive device settings can affect websites in other ways; that is separate from our use of tracking cookies.

Does deleting cookies remove my ticket-checking numbers?

The checker does not save a server-side ticket history. Refreshing its page clears the entered values. Deleting cookies is a different browser action and does not necessarily delete screenshots, bookmarks or visited addresses. Check those categories separately when using a shared device.
